Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan is optimistic that the election which will be held on February 14 2024 will be a day of change. Anies said February 14 would be the momentum for the start of improvements in various sectors, especially in Kotamubagu, North Sulawesi.
“Hopefully February 14 will be a day of change for Indonesia and from there we will start improving this land. Children will receive quality education to the end, development can be managed well because government administration is better,” said Anies during a big campaign at Molinow Field, Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi, Monday (5/2/2024).
According to Anies, currently what is no less important is managing the abundant natural resources in Kotamobagu. So, said Anies, local residents can experience prosperity in rich land.
“And what is no less important is that natural resource management can be done here, creating jobs, providing added value so that in rich land the residents feel prosperity,” he said.
Anies then asked supporters and sympathizers who attended today’s campaign whether they would change their choice if given a certain amount of money from a certain party. Anies then talked about honor.
“I want to ask, if from today until the 14th someone comes to your house, you bring a supply of rupiah, asking to change your choice, will you change your choice? Will it change? We will protect our honor,” he said.
Anies believes that his supporters are not people whose self-esteem can be bought and sold. He then invited all parties to fight together for change.
“We are not people whose self-esteem is bought and sold. Why? Because we want the happiness that comes from policy changes to be sold cheaply for rupiah ahead of the presidential election. We are not selling change. So everyone here is ready to fight together?” he added.
